After The CMJ Festival

I remember feeling the adrenaline coursing through my veins as I walked onto the stage at ZirZamin. This was it. The moment I had been waiting for. The crowd was alive and the energy in the air was electric. I was about to play my first show at the CMJ Festival and I was ready to give it my all. As I looked around me on the small, cozy stage, I saw Eddie and Javi tuning their instruments. This was the first time we would play together and I had a feeling it was going to be magical. We had practiced for weeks, but there was something special about playing live on stage. We started with my original track, Future On Fire, and the crowd went wild. I couldn’t believe the energy in the room. It was contagious. Next up was Superman, another original that I had been working on for months. The beat dropped, the guitar riff kicked in, and the crowd exploded. It was like nothing I had ever experienced before. After the show, I couldn’t stop thinking about the possibilities. Cheez and I knew we had something special with Eddie, and we decided to ask him to join Bodysnatchers, our EDM duo. We wanted to take our music to the next level and Eddie was the missing piece of the puzzle. As we left ZirZamin that night, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement for what was to come. With Gizzi’s closing, it was time to take my music to the next level and ZirZamin was the perfect place to do it. That’s when I came up with the idea for the Bud and Roach Show residency. We would use ZirZamin as a platform to showcase local talent and give up-and-coming artists a chance to shine live on our radio platform, with a voting poll dictating who advances to the finale. It was a dream come true, and I knew I was onto something special.
