As the sun shined over the bustling streets of New York City, Storm and I found ourselves making our way toward the iconic Sirius XM building. We were on a mission, armed with our cameras and microphones, to film Weekend Work’s interview with none other than Cuban Link, a legendary rapper, and fellow New Yorker who had left an indelible mark on Hip Hop history. I couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitement running through my veins, as the thought of sitting down with such an influential artist brought a sense of awe and anticipation. Cuban Link’s history in Hip Hop is one that has been both storied and respected. Bursting onto the scene in the late 90s as a member of the revered group, Terror Squad, Cuban quickly gained notoriety for his gritty lyrics and smooth delivery.
