The day of Teyana Taylor’s album release party had finally arrived, and I was beyond excited. I knew this was going to be the perfect opportunity to showcase Roach TV to a broader audience. Brenna and I arrived at Purfek Storm Group HQ early, where I set up a camera on a stick, ready to capture the craziness that was about to unfold. As soon as the party started, the free liquor was flowing, and I found myself drinking Birthday Cake wine by the bottle. With a buzz already starting, I began to roam the packed room with my camera on a stick, asking people silly questions for funny content. Everyone was loving it, and I felt like the life of the party. As the night progressed, the alcohol began to take its toll on me. I was getting more and more drunk, and my camera work was becoming shakier. But I refused to let that stop me from capturing every moment. I wanted to show everyone the fun that was being had at the party, and I was determined to make it happen. As the night came to an end, Brenna and I headed back to our car. I stopped to spark a cigarette, and as we turn our faces back toward the door, were face to face with none other than Fabolous himself. As he walked away, Brenna bursted out laughing at the sheer craziness of the situation. We were both a bit starstruck, but I couldn’t help but feel a sense of accomplishment. I had made it to the big leagues, and I was rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest names in the industry. The memories of the night were already beginning to fade as the alcohol wore off. But one thing that remained was the look of pride and happiness on Brenna’s face. She had seen me in my element, doing what I loved and making people laugh. And that was all that really mattered.
