I decided it was time to take a break from the wrestling videos and focus on making money. With COVID shutting everything down, the checks were few and far between. I found myself promoting my freelancing services online to former clients, hoping to make ends meet. It wasn’t long before I got a response from singer-songwriter Kevin Gullickson, a fantastic musician that I had designed for in the past. The opportunity felt like a breath of fresh air, and I eagerly agreed to work with him again. I planned to work on a Roach TV: Behind The Scenes episode that would focus on the creation of artwork for Kevin’s new singles. I wanted to give my viewers a glimpse into my artistic process and show them how I turned ideas into stunning visuals. With excitement and anticipation, I sat down at my computer, ready to dive into the world of graphic design again. As I opened Photoshop, I felt a surge of energy coursing through me. The familiar workspace welcomed me back like an old friend, and I began to brainstorm ideas for Kevin’s singles. I knew that I had to create something unique and eye-catching, something that would stand out amidst the sea of other designs in the music industry. Once I had a solid foundation, I began the process of refining and perfecting the design. I meticulously adjusted every element, ensuring that each detail was just right. Time flew by as I worked, completely immersed in the creative process. As I added the finishing touches to the designs, I felt a sense of pride in what I had created, and I was confident that Kevin would love them. I saved the files and sent them over to him, and not long after, I received a response from Kevin himself. The praise in his message was overwhelming. He loved the designs, stating that they were exactly what he had envisioned for his new singles. I couldn’t help but smile as I read his words, feeling a sense of accomplishment and validation.
