As the promo video for the Bud and Roach Entertainment Residency, LIVE! was released, I felt a sense of accomplishment and pride. This project was a collaboration between myself and Christina LaRocca, and we had put in a lot of hard work to make it happen. It all started with the idea of creating a weekly residency at ZirZamin, a small but charming venue in New York City. The goal was to bring together a community of artists and fans, to provide a platform for up-and-coming musicians to showcase their talents. Christina and I had booked a few successful weeks, and we had accumulated enough footage to create an official commercial for the residency. The video showcased the intimate atmosphere of ZirZamin, the quality of our production, and the talent of the artists that had graced our stage. We were excited to share it with the world. This was a unique experience, one that blended technology and live performance in a way that had never been done before. I was in charge of the tech, integrating the mixing board with my laptop to provide professional quality audio to our listening fans every Tuesday night on our official website. Christina used her rolodex of artists to book quality acts, and together we created an experience that was unmatched in its intimacy and quality. The video was just the beginning, and I knew that LIVE! would continue to grow and evolve with each passing week. This was a chance to make a difference in the lives of up-and-coming musicians and to create a community of like-minded individuals. As the weeks went by, I found the long walk from the train to the venue to take a toll, only to find solace once the music began.
